They represent a new venture within still life for my practice. Locally sourcing mostly wasted objects and organics I explore simple yet absurd compositions, endeavouring to evoke feeling out of inanimate objects.

The technical process involved minimal lighting, generally using one overhead strobe or speedlight or torch in some cases. Playing with colours and perspective to give the objects extreme presence within the frame.
